Emma had a big birthday weekend. We started Wednesday night with a couple of presents and a cupcake. The celebration then continued on Friday night with a little family party. Emma got to open the rest of her gifts and dig into her panda cake that Grandma made and Uncle Dale helped to decorate. She wasn't so much into the unwrapping the presents but really liked everything once it was out of the box. Both the cupcake and the cake were a big hit although with the cake, she stuck pretty much to the icing, which was everywhere as you will see including my hair.

I adore those chubby little baby hands. Take lots of photos of them now because over the next 6 months they will turn into regular little toddler hands.... and she'll be the most adorable little toddler, but enjoy all the baby-ness while you still can!!

The pictures from Emma's first birthday are adorable. I especially enjoyed the ones with the frosting all over her face and in her mom's hair. Likes of new toys to keep Emma entertained.
