We Are In...For the Most Part
We spent our first night in the new house on Saturday after a full day of moving. Okay, so Brad and company moved while I hung out at the new house with Emma and tried to get things done when she would allow. There is still some stuff that needs to be moved, primarily clothes but all the big stuff is out. The kitchen is organized and the bed/crib are assembled; what else do you need. We had some great help from our friends Carl and John. In addition to moving all of our stuff, they also got the baseboard removed the water line installed for the refrigerator (it is no longer in the middle of the floor, yeah!). Carl also vacuumed all the lint out of the dryer. Who could ask for better help? The transition into the new house for Emma was seamless. She loves her new space especially all the room that she has in her bedroom without the guest bed. We weren't sure how she would sleep the first couple of nights but we didn't hear a peep out of her either night. Now it is on to the fun task of unpacking and then more photos of the house. Photos of Emma to come soon though. Guess who is going to be 15 months old this week? Wow!
