Soccer - Fall 2013

Now that soccer season is over, seems like the perfect time to post photos from the first soccer game.  Our team this fall returned seven players from the spring.  Unfortunately, our good friend Juliana had to join another team because of a scheduling conflict with dance.  We did pick up Vivian, who is in Emma's class at school from a different team.  It was amazing how much improvement these girls made since spring.  Whereas they were a little timid last spring especially against the teams primarily composed of boys, this fall they were not as afraid to get in there and mix it up.  We have one tough group of girls for sure.  Emma had a great first game after I got on her a bit to keep her head in the game and hustle; after that, she scored several goals and was so excited and proud as were her Mom and Dad!
