Another Injury
Josh woke up the morning of April 8th and said that he couldn't walk. He would not put any pressure on his right leg so Brad loaded him up and took him to the ER. Brad texted and said that the process of getting x-rays was awful and the boy was in a lot of pain. They got everything checked out; nothing was broken and diagnosed as deep strain of his hip/quad. Just as they were ready to leave the hospital, Josh's muscle started to spasm and Brad said he about went through the roof. The doctors gave him some Valium, which relaxed everything and Josh on Valium was pretty hilarious. They told him to use crutches for a couple of days and then hopefully things would improve. Fortunately that was the case and it was a real wonder that he didn't hurt himself worse on the crutches. Needless to say, baseball was off the table for about a week. We never were certain what caused the injury but glad he recovered quickly.
