Nutcracker
week arrived. Emma had spacing on Monday night, dress rehearsal on
Wednesday, school performance on Thursday, and then public performances on
Friday and Sunday. That was a lot of hair to be done. Since her
choir was singing at the Capitol on Wednesday, I did not make her go to school
in bandanas but I did on Friday. She wasn't embarrassed and got a kick
out of all her classmates asking what they were for. On Wednesday, she
said they all wanted to touch her ringlets but she told them, "Never,
never touch them" as she wagged her finger back and forth. Emma did an amazing job and I won't lie, I had some tears in my eyes watching her perform and excel on stage.
