I figured that she might be too tall for the part so prepared her for another year as a Soldier. When casting was announced, I was so excited to tell her that she was going to be a Bon Bon this year. Crazy how much Emma had grown in just 9 months.

Nutcracker Auditions
On August 26th Nutcracker Auditions were held at Shuffles. Emma has been an Angel (2014), Little Mouse (2015), and Soldier (2016). In 2016, most of her friends had been cast as Bon Bons, which disappointed Emma because she had been hoping to be a Bon Bon as well. She was a super cute Soldier.
