St. Louis

At the end of July, we headed up to St. Louis to meet up with the Welch's for a weekend of fun and the first Cardinals game for the kids.  We met up at the Magic House on Friday afternoon and spent several hours before heading downtown to check in at the hotel and then walk over to dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory.  Josh and Emma (especially Josh) loved the Old Spaghetti Factory and all the kids were excited over the balloon "artist".

On Saturday morning, we got to the City Museum at opening.  We headed directly to the rooftop to explore before it got too hot.  Three hours was not enough to see everything and a trip back is most certainly required.

After a yummy lunch of Mexican food, we headed back to the hotel for a short break before going to the Arch where we had tickets to go up before the game.  Unfortunately, when we got to the Arch, they were running way behind schedule and that was not going to work for Brad and Jeff who were anxious to get to the game.  We got a refund for our tickets and left with Emma in tears because she was really looking forward to being up in the Arch.

We rounded out the weekend with an amazing breakfast at Roosters' and said goodbye to our friends as we departed for Little Rock and them for West Plains.
