JumpZone Fun

A few weeks back we were invited to George's 5th birthday party at the JumpZone. It had been a while since Emma was there so she was beside herself with excitement. Josh had never been to the JumpZone and I wasn't quite sure how it would go since he hadn't been so keen on bouncy houses in the past. While Emma hit the door running, it took Josh a little bit to warm up to the concept. At first he primarily stuck to one of the bouce houses where there were very few kids and then he got brave and headed off to climb up the ladder of a very high bounce house. He reached the top and slid down but then realized he did not really like sliding down so he would climb up, climb down, climb up, climb down. After doing this for a while, Emma had made the rounds and decided she would help her brother so from that point on, she would slide down with him on all the different bounce houses. They had a great time. Emma was also a great helper when it came to getting Josh out of situations where bigger kids (not from our party) were basically trampling the poor guy. Emma definitely had his back! Both kids had tons of fun and I think they were asleep as soon as their heads hit their pillows that night.

Daddy's Helper

Several weeks ago, Brad was getting the lawn mower ready for action. As soon as Josh noticed that Brad was working with tools on the mower, he had to make a beeline over there to find out what was going on. He was such a big helper tightening things back up. At least he'll be ready when the job becomes his. Of course, according to Emma, you have to be 1,101 before you can mow the lawn so I guess Josh has some time.
