Softball Closing Ceremony
It was a great softball season. The girls improved so much throughout the season even though we were once again severely hampered by rain. If we ever play more than 50% of the scheduled games, I may decide that I actually don't mind all the rain outs. Luckily, the weather was perfect for the closing ceremony and rather than stop the middle game halfway through and do all the teams at once like last year, each game ended about 10 minutes early to present trophies to those two teams. I got the honor of saying the names and don't think I butchered any. Great season Hot Shots!
Junior Deputy Day at Dickey Stephens
On May 17th, Dickey Stephens had Junior Deputy Day. The boys got to line up with their team and parade across the field before the Travelers game. I'm sure Brad was picturing Josh in a Cardinals uniform walking on to the field at Busch Stadium some day.
Bridging Ceremony
In May, our little Daisies transitioned to Brownies. Amber and Sunny did a great job putting together the bridging ceremony. After the ceremony, we enjoyed pizza and lots of yummy goodies.

Dress Rehearsal
Emma's recital was the Saturday of Mother's Day weekend. For the first time this year, she performed in two dances (ballet and tap). Luckily, Papa and Mema were able to come down to Arkansas for the weekend to see the recital. I was able to take a few photos during the recital. In addition to increasing the number of dances in the recital, this was also the last year that we only had to stay for one act. Starting in 2016, she'll have three dances and be spread across two acts. Brad and Josh will have to get settled in!
