Oregon - Rock Museum

Some of the places we looked into that we thought the kids might enjoy happened to be closed so we ended up at the Rock Museum.  Bo and Gram had never been there but it was really neat and I think Emma took a photo of every rock they had.  Since there were many people there, we got to see where they cut open thundereggs and polish them.  One of the volunteers cut one open for the kids and gave them the halves.  There was a huge thunderegg on display in the museum and they told us how they were dying to see what it looked like inside.  When they opened it, they were disappointed to find that it was hollow so they super glued it back together and put it back on display.  Knowing this, we could see where it had been cut open on the way back out of the museum.

We visited the Rogue Valley Creamery after the museum.  Josh enjoyed the cheeses except the blue cheese; can't blame him for that.

They loved being with Sasha and helping walk hurt during our morning forays for coffee.
