Sorrento - June 12th

On the 12th, we left Rome via train to Naples where we met our driver who took us into Sorrento.  The landscape of Sorrento was completely different than Rome and everywhere you looked were lemon trees.  It was absolutely beautiful and so laid back compared to the craziness of Rome.  The first afternoon/evening, we had time just to wander Sorrento and explore the shops.  The sidewalks were extremely narrow and like in Rome, there really didn't seem to be any place that cars couldn't go so we certainly needed to be on the lookout.  It was crazy watching vehicles make some crazy hairpin turns with vehicles coming from the other direction.
