Disney Day 2 - Magic Kingdom

Day 2 was Magic Kingdom.  Our first Fast Pass was for 9:10 - 10:10 am so we took our time in the morning.  In addition to bus transportation, our hotel had boats to the Magic Kingdom and the Contemporary.  We took advantage and enjoyed the boat right over.  When we got there, Emma asked for Minnie Ears. Given that days before Mickey Mouse was for babies, I questioned whether she would wear them.  She said she would and she did almost the entire trip.  Josh also got himself Mickey Ears.  Interestingly, Mickey is no longer just for babies.  Hooray!

After making our purchase, we headed for the train depot so we could go to Adventureland for Big Thunder Mountain.  Snow White just happened to be in the depot so photo op for Emma.  This was our first test on a big roller coaster and they both passed with flying colors.  After Big Thunder, there was a short wait for Splash Mountain so we headed over there and luckily got in the back two rows so we didn't get very wet.  From there, we went to Fantasyland for Peter Pan's Flight and Under the Sea.  We also rode Prince Charming's Carousel and the teacups at the Mad Tea Party in Fantasyland.  After lunch, we went back to Adventureland for Country Bear Jamboree and then on to the Hall of Presidents.  Then Emma met Ariel at her Grotto.

Before dinner, Josh and Brad rode the Tomorrowland Speedway and we enjoyed some laughs at the Monters Inc, Laugh Floor before rounding it out with Stitch's Great Escape.  By this point, we were ready to eat and this was our first character meal at the Crystal Palace.  We got to meet Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet.  We didn't know to bring an autograph book for the kids but lesson learned for our next trip.  After dinner, we caught a little of the Main Street Electrical Parade before the Celebrate the Magic light show.  Josh was beyond tired by this point but powered through (he had no choice).  He crashed on the bus back to the resort.  Day 2 in the books!
